Great interaction with Alex leading up to the two charters we booked. Luis and Arturo were our captains and Franklin and Juan were mates on both trips. Fantastic experience while on board. Captains were communicating with other boats and had their own notepads with their ‘special-spot’ coordinates scribbled down. Mates were very experienced and went about prepping gear, baits and lures on the way to the grounds so there was no down time. Our shorter bottom fishing trip was successful with lots of snapper and a Trigger fish. The second trip we did was 8 hours and it exceeded expectations. Franklin had tossed a single line out while cruising to the sailfish grounds, once Arturo slowed the boat approaching ‘the spot’ a Wahoo immediately took it and we had it in the hold within a few minutes. Bait was plentiful and a few live sardines were sent out… within an hour, we had 2 beautiful sailfish which were respectfully released to maintain the stocks for future generations. Arturo then recommended we hit some structures that were producing. We opted to follow this advice and proceeded to catch over 50 jack fish including some AJ’s. Highly recommend Luis/Arturo and their mates Franklin and Juan. Very professional and obviously experienced in their trade. Thank you for always having a fish on the end of the line and a cerveza in my hand. Wonderful hospitality while on board.

What an AMAZING experience! We have fished in a lot of places with a variety of outfits and let me say, this team is phenomenal. Alex (booking process), Hector (captain), Eduardo, & Eden (crew) and Katrina (on deck photographer) were all beyond exceptional! My bucket list goal for this trip was a sailfish… the crew pulled out all the tricks of the trade to help me achieve my goal. I caught an 88” female and as a bonus, my daughter reeled in an 85” male also! Our other catches were great too, but we got our sailfish and had an EPIC day on the Kianah! Book with Kianah’s Sport Fishing for a memorable day on the water, trust me!! 💞

We had an amazing full day trip today on the Kianah! The captain and mates worked the entire day to keep us on fish! We caught 22 fish today including Sailfish, Barracuda, and some Black fin tuna. We fish around the world and these guys are among the best! This is our second trip with them and we will definitely be back!

These guys are amazing!! This was my third trip and they killed it again! We caught barracuda all morning and I was able to cross it off my bucket list. I have now caught 3 of my bucket list fish with these guys including sailfish and Bonita. Alex is a stud and helped me put a last minute trips together with my family. Miguel and Felipe kept us on fish all morning. They were great with my 9 year old too. Hot Tuna was a great boat. Thanks guys!!

My wife and I went out 2/26/2024 with Kianah for 8 hours and had an awesome time. A big shout out to the crew Hector, Eduardo, & Edan. These guys worked the deck the entire time making sure baits were free from grass and swimming properly. We decided to target sailfish & wahoo depending on that then do some bottom fishing. We set troll for the wahoo on the way out and following that we switched up for sailfish. Within 45 minutes we were hooked up. We trolled another hour + then our second sailfish was on. My wife and I both landed our first sailfish each. About noon we headed for the reef for some bottom fishing. It was immediately action catching some very nice Mutton Snapper, Amberjack, & Almaco Jacks. These fish gave us non-stop action for about an hour. We even had four fish on at once. We were spent come the ride home having an epic day. In total we had 25 landed fish, 2 Sailfish, 10 Mutton Snapper, and 13 Jacks. If we ever make it to Cancun again I will 100% be booking again.
